The Government of Aruba, in collaboration with FCCA, cordially invites the community to a press moment regarding the renovation project in the Mabon neighborhood. This initiative aims to improve the quality of life in the area by repurposing existing spaces to create a more dignified, safe, and functional environment for residents. Focus on the Mabon neighborhood has been evident for years, starting with the Mike Eman Cabinet. Previous projects include the ‘Paint Your Neighborhood’ program, which brought ‘living rainbow’ colors to local homes and the large building (flat), as well as the installation of LED lighting and park improvements. Now, under the AVP-Futuro Cabinet, Prime Minister Mike Eman continues these efforts. Following visits and listening to residents, recent improvements include the construction of a basketball court and the renovation of the Mabon Heuvel (flat). The community is invited to the official handover on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at 8:30 AM on Caya Butishi, Mabon. Prime Minister Mike Eman and FCCA representatives will be present.
