ORANJESTAD – Aruba will have a direct air connection to Barranquilla through a new temporary route operated by Wingo, confirmed the Aruba Airport Authority on Thursday morning. The route will connect Aruba to Colombia via Ernesto Cortissoz International Airport.
The service will begin on July 9 and operate during the peak season with two flights per week, on Thursdays and Sundays.
This new connection will expand travel options for Aruba residents and facilitate the arrival of visitors from Colombia. It will also create opportunities in both tourism and commercial activity.
The introduction of this route is part of an expansion of regional connectivity, aimed at making Aruba more accessible within the Latin American market.
