In the video, Alex can be seen with his parents while continuing his rehabilitation. He appears to be responding positively to therapy, with visible movement and reactions that are being viewed as encouraging signs after the critical medical condition he experienced.

The Alex Aruba heat stroke recovery has become a source of hope for many in Aruba, especially after the child’s case shocked the island. Alex had been left inside a closed vehicle under extreme heat, causing a severe heat stroke that placed his life in danger.

Following initial treatment at ImSan and later at Dr. Horacio Oduber Hospital, doctors decided that more advanced care was needed, which led to his transfer to Colombia.

The incident happened on Tuesday, February 25, during an extremely hot day. According to reports, the five-year-old boy was accidentally left inside a transport van belonging to a daycare after school. The driver reportedly parked the vehicle and closed all doors and windows without realizing the child was still seated in the back.

Alex remained trapped inside the closed vehicle for more than an hour. Temperatures inside the van may have risen to between 50 and 60 degrees Celsius, resulting in a severe heat stroke. His condition became critical, with reported damage to organs and complications involving his heart.

Later, when his father arrived to pick him up and realized he was missing, Alex was found inside the van unconscious. He was rushed to emergency care at ImSan, where medical staff worked quickly to stabilize him.

Police also assisted in opening the way so he could be transported urgently to the hospital. He remained in critical condition in intensive care before being flown to Colombia for more advanced treatment.

The Alex Aruba heat stroke recovery continues to be closely followed by the public, as many people across Aruba remain united in support of the family. Messages of encouragement and relief have continued to pour in as the child shows signs of improvement.

Authorities are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident, while the community continues to hope and pray for Alex’s full recovery
