ORANJESTAD, Aruba (AAN) — The Quota International Aruba school donation, in collaboration with TOB Carnival Group, has provided earplugs and Carnival costume materials to Scol Dun’un Man and Colegio San Antonio, supporting student safety and participation during the Carnival season.

Both schools approached the organizations for assistance and successfully received donations.

Angelique Brouwer, Vice President of Quota International of Aruba, announced that Quota donated 600 earplugs to the two schools. She also encouraged parents to ensure their children wear ear protection while attending Carnival parades, noting that Quota sells earplugs during the festivities to promote hearing safety.

TOB Carnival Group contributed bandanas and cowboy hats. According to Lisette, a representative of TOB, Scol Dun’un Man initially requested cowboy hats for their Carnival celebration. When supplies were unavailable, TOB reached out to participants, who generously donated hats that were collected at New India Assurance.

For Colegio San Antonio, TOB provided a box of bandanas. Gershwin Lee of Colegio San Antonio explained that the school is preparing for the school parade on February 6 and wanted to enhance participation while also raising awareness about hearing protection through the earplugs donated by Quota.

Jeannise Boekhouwer of Scol Dun’un Man expressed appreciation for the cowboy costumes and invited additional TOB participants who wish to donate hats to deliver them to New India Assurance or contact the school via Facebook.

Both schools expressed their gratitude to Quota International of Aruba, TOB Carnival Group, and New India Assurance for their collaboration and support, helping students safely enjoy Carnival celebrations.
