Aruba’s Minister of Finance, Economy, and Primary Sector, Geoffrey Wever, has confirmed that the Netherlands is supporting and funding the feasibility study for the island’s upcoming “Agri Innovation Park” project.
In an interview with DIARIO Aruba, Minister Wever explained that the government is carefully reviewing the feasibility, costs, and technology of the project before committing public funds to its construction. “It’s important to have all research and recommendations in place before we invest public money, to ensure this will be an effective and sustainable initiative,” he said.
He added that the Dutch government’s involvement shows confidence in Aruba’s vision and approach. “The Netherlands believes in this project and the way we are developing it. That’s a positive sign of trust and collaboration,” Minister Wever stated.
