MEP parliamentarian Evelyn Wever-Croes has challenged what she described as a Futuro Finance Committee bid to take over the chair of Aruba Parliament’s Standing Committee on Finance.
MEP defends the current committee chair
Wever-Croes told Parliament that MEP member Shailiny Tromp-Lee has chaired the Finance Committee for almost two years. She argued that the committee has been particularly active and said it has held 15 meetings while giving institutions an opportunity to raise concerns.
