A woman was injured Wednesday afternoon after losing control of her vehicle on a narrow road at Franse Pas in Aruba.
Police and ambulance crews responded to the scene and found that the driver had veered off the roadway, causing the vehicle to overturn and come to rest in a ditch.
The woman managed to exit the overturned vehicle through the rear window before emergency responders arrived. She was treated at the scene by paramedics and transported to the hospital for further medical care.
Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
