Police and ambulance crews responded Wednesday afternoon to Kamerlingh Onnestraat in Aruba after a report that a three-year-old child had been accidentally locked inside a vehicle.
Upon arrival, officers confirmed the incident and emergency medical personnel assessed the child at the scene.
As a precaution, the child was transported to the hospital for a medical examination. No further details about the child’s condition were immediately released.
