ORANJESTAD (AAN) – Venezuela and the Dutch Kingdom have reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening bilateral relations and regional cooperation during a recent meeting between their respective foreign affairs ministers.
Venezuelan Minister of Foreign Affairs Yván Gil met with Dutch Minister of Foreign Affairs Tom Berendsen to discuss mutual interests. The discussions focused on promoting tourism to the islands of Aruba, Curaçao, and Bonaire, as well as fostering a favorable climate for foreign investment.
The Venezuelan government expressed particular interest in strengthening ties with Dutch companies in strategic sectors such as agriculture, energy, and transportation. Both parties emphasized the importance of economic development and regional integration within the Caribbean context.
