ORANJESTAD – Two people were injured early Saturday morning after a vehicle reportedly skidded off a wet road near MFA Paradera and crashed into a large rock.
Police and ambulance crews responded to the scene after receiving reports of the collision. According to the preliminary investigation, the driver lost control of the vehicle after it skidded on the rain-soaked roadway, causing it to leave the road, enter a nearby wooded area and strike a large rock.
Paramedics treated both occupants at the scene before transporting them to the hospital for further medical evaluation. Police are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
