Students of La Salle College Help Clean Aruba’s Beaches

The administration of La Salle College MAVO has organized beach cleanup days as part of an environmental awareness initiative for its students.

Last Friday, students from Basic Cycle 2 participated in a beach cleaning activity at Rincon Beach (Grapefield). The students arrived early, equipped with gloves and cleaning materials, and worked together to collect litter found along the beach and surrounding vegetation.

Despite the challenging conditions, especially under the bright sun, students showed strong dedication and teamwork, making the effort both productive and rewarding. At the end of the cleanup, participants were able to cool down and enjoy refreshments, including a swim.

The initiative continues, as Basic Cycle 1 students are scheduled to carry out a similar cleanup at Baby Beach in the coming days. La Salle College expressed its gratitude to the Aruba Tourism Authority and Ban Serio Aruba for their support in making the project possible.
