Four suspects linked to attacks
San Nicolas robbery arrests have followed an investigation into attacks targeting older residents. Aruba Police said three minors, ages 15, 16 and 16, and a 31-year-old adult were detained in connection with incidents in which victims were allegedly pushed down or left unable to defend themselves before belongings were taken.
Fifth arrest concerns residential thefts
Investigators also detained a 40-year-old suspect in a separate line of inquiry involving thefts from homes where many of the residents are older adults. Police presented all five people as suspects; the allegations have not been established by a final court judgment.
Investigation may lead to more arrests
The San Nicolas investigative team said additional detentions have not been ruled out. Police asked witnesses or anyone with information to call the anonymous tip line at 11141.
