ORANJESTAD (AAN) – Respaldo has officially presented its 2025 Annual Report to Aruba’s Minister of Public Health, Social Affairs, Elderly Care and Addiction Management, Drs. Mervin Wyatt-Ras.
During the meeting, representatives of Respaldo highlighted the organization’s key achievements, recent developments and priorities for the future.
Respaldo, which operates under the Fundacion Salud Mental Aruba, is Aruba’s only specialized mental health (GGZ) institution. It provides a wide range of mental health services, including a psychiatric clinic, outpatient services for adults and adolescents, and FACT community outreach teams.
The organization also noted its ongoing efforts to recruit mental health professionals, including psychiatrists, psychologists and nurses, to strengthen mental healthcare services across Aruba.
