PM Jetten Visits Aruba in Dutch Kingdom Tour
Dutch Prime Minister Rob Jetten is visiting the Caribbean part of the Dutch Kingdom from May 8 to 14, with Aruba playing an important role in the final part of the trip. This marks Jetten’s first official visit to the region as prime minister.
Rob Jetten Aruba Visit Highlights
Jetten arrives in Aruba on May 12, after prior visits to Sint Maarten, Saba, Sint Eustatius, and Bonaire. During his stay, he will attend the official premiere of a documentary about Aruba’s nature, as part of the multimedia WOW! project about the Caribbean part of the Kingdom.
Exploring Arikok National Park
On May 13, the prime minister will visit Arikok National Park, one of Aruba’s best-known natural areas. A visit is also scheduled to the Centro Deportivo Libertador Betico Croes sports center, where attention will be dedicated to sports and youth development.
Economic Development During Rob Jetten Aruba Visit
Economic development occupies a central place during a business visit within the framework of the new BMKB ACS regulation, which aims to support entrepreneurs in the Caribbean part of the Kingdom. Before departing for Curaçao, Jetten will receive a tour of Queen Beatrix International Airport.
Strengthening Kingdom Ties
During the broader Kingdom tour, the prime minister will meet with governments, social organizations, and businesses on topics such as sustainability, security, governance, and economic cooperation within the Dutch Kingdom.
