ORANJESTAD (AAN) – Minivan Rear-Ends Kia Forte in Pos Chikito Crash on Saturday afternoon after the driver of a minivan allegedly failed to regulate speed and maintain a safe following distance, according to preliminary police information.
Police were dispatched to Pos Chikito after receiving reports of a two-vehicle traffic collision.
Driver Failed to Maintain Safe Distance
Based on the initial investigation, officers determined that the driver of the minivan was unable to stop in time and struck the rear of a Kia Forte. Preliminary findings indicate the collision occurred because the minivan driver did not adjust speed appropriately or maintain a sufficient distance behind the vehicle ahead.

Fortunately, no one involved in the collision was injured.
