ORANJESTAD, Aruba (AAN) — The King Willem-Alexander visit Aruba March 2026 has been officially confirmed, with the Dutch monarch scheduled to visit the island on March 18, 2026.
The visit will take place within the framework of two significant national milestones: 40 years of Aruba’s Status Aparte (1986–2026) and 50 years of the Aruban national anthem and flag (1976–2026).
During the visit, King Willem-Alexander will reflect on Aruba’s development since the introduction of Status Aparte in 1986, as well as the challenges the island faces four decades later. The program will highlight the historical significance of these milestones and showcase the cultural identity and pride of the Aruban people.
