ORANJESTAD, Aruba (AAN) — The Aruba Airport Authority new CEO, Jonny Andersen, was recently received by Governor Alfonso Boekhoudt during an official audience at the Cabinet of the Governor of Aruba.
This marked the first formal audience for Andersen since his official appointment earlier this month as Chief Executive Officer of Aruba Airport Authority N.V. (AAA). Andersen brings more than 20 years of international leadership experience in the airport sector, gained through senior management roles across Europe, Africa, and the Caribbean.
The Aruba Airport Authority new CEO now leads the organization responsible for managing and operating the Queen Beatrix International Airport, Aruba’s main international gateway.
The airport is currently undergoing a significant phase of renovation and expansion, aimed at supporting Aruba’s long-term aviation growth, improving passenger experience, and strengthening the island’s connectivity with international destinations.
The meeting underscored the importance of institutional collaboration as Aruba Airport Authority continues to play a vital role in the island’s infrastructure and economic development.
