The election of the Reina Grandi di Carnaval 72 took place Sunday night at the Aruba Carnival & Entertainment Village, drawing an enthusiastic crowd for one of the most anticipated events of the Carnival season.
At the conclusion of the competition, Gabriela Croes, representing TOB Carnival Group, was crowned Reina Grandi di Carnaval 72. She received the crown from Prime Minister Mike Eman.
The title of First Runner-Up was awarded to Ashantee Martus of HEPA DMC Society, while Second Runner-Up went to Mileicha Barry, representing Dushi Carnival Group.
Several special awards were also presented during the evening. Best Speech and the Pay.aw Award were both awarded to Ashantee Martus of HEPA DMC Society. Best Show and Best Costume were claimed by Gabriela Croes of TOB Carnival Group.
The event marked another festive highlight in Aruba’s Carnival celebrations, showcasing talent, creativity, and the vibrant spirit of Carnival 72.
