ORANJESTAD (AAN) – Recently, Aruba’s Minister of Tourism, Transport, and Labor, Mr. Wendrick Cicilia, met with Jan Bos, an aviation expert from the Royal Netherlands Aerospace Center (NLR).
During the meeting, Bos emphasized the potential of Aruba to become a pioneer in the development of electric flight. He described Aruba as an ideal “living lab” for innovation, highlighting that the island’s unique conditions are perfect for experimenting with electric flight technology. The proximity to the ABC islands and the possibility of self-producing energy make Aruba a prime location for testing and advancing this groundbreaking technology.
