ORANJESTAD, Aruba – Driver Injured After Toyota Yaris Rolls Over in Sero Janchi early Sunday morning after the vehicle reportedly lost control on a wet roadway and overturned.
Police and ambulance personnel responded to reports of a single-vehicle accident involving injuries in the Sero Janchi area during the early hours of the morning.
Upon arrival, officers found a blue Toyota Yaris overturned in a cactus-filled area beside the road, resting on its roof. According to the driver’s initial statement, the vehicle reportedly skidded on the rain-soaked road, causing the driver to lose control before the car rolled over.
The driver sustained injuries in the crash. Paramedics treated the victim at the scene before transporting the individual to the hospital for further medical evaluation and treatment.
Police documented the accident and continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the rollover. Motorists are reminded to reduce speed and exercise extra caution when driving on wet roads, as slippery conditions can significantly increase the risk of losing vehicle control.
