ORANJESTAD (AAN) – On Tuesday morning, a detainee suffering from asthma experienced a medical emergency in the Shaba ward. The individual was unable to reach a respirator, prompting an ambulance to be dispatched immediately. Upon arrival, paramedics had to position the ambulance near the cell to provide timely assistance. The detainee was stabilized and transported to a hospital for further treatment.
