ORANJESTAD (AAN) – Cinearuba recently hosted an appreciation dinner to honor Raphaela Mahadeo and Addonsito Croes, who are stepping down from the foundation after 13 years of active service.
Both joined the organization when the Aruban film ABO SO premiered 13 years ago. They played important roles in the production alongside a large local cast, with Addonsito Croes making his acting debut in the film before appearing in nine additional productions.
Following the success of ABO SO, Cinearuba founder Juan Fransisco Pardo invited Mahadeo, Croes and Luty Martinez to become members of the foundation.
The farewell dinner was attended by Pardo, Luty Martinez, Adriano Nanof, Raphaela Mahadeo and Addonsito Croes. During the gathering, both honorees thanked Cinearuba for the opportunities they received over the years and wished the organization continued success.
Three years ago, Cinearuba also recognized Mahadeo and Croes for their first decade of active membership in the foundation.
