New Attraction Begins Operations
Balashi Beer Experience officially opened at Gloria Aruba on October 4 after about 30 months of development and a reported Afl. 30 million investment. MetaCorp chief executive Eddie de Veer described the project as a new indoor attraction intended for tourists, cruise passengers and adult residents seeking an Aruba-focused visitor experience.
Tour Includes Twelve Experience Zones
The Balashi Beer Experience occupies about 1,300 square metres and contains 12 themed zones. According to 24ora, the guided visit uses exhibits, projections and interactive elements to present the brand's history and connection with Aruba before concluding in an Aruba-style rum-shop setting. A visit is expected to last from 90 minutes to two hours.
Project Creates Seventeen Jobs
The report said 15 subcontractors worked on the facility and that its operation created 17 jobs. Published hours run from 10 a.m. to 6:45 p.m. The attraction forms part of an expansion of the Gloria entertainment complex and is designed to add a daytime tourism activity while supporting longer visits to the surrounding businesses.
