ORANJESTAD, Aruba — The Aruba Peru Independence Reception brought Aruba’s Minister Plenipotentiary, Mildred Schwengle, together with Peruvian diplomatic representatives in the Netherlands.
A “Pisco Sour d’Honneur” reception was held at Kasteel de Wittenburg to commemorate the 205th anniversary of Peru’s independence.
Schwengle attended on behalf of Aruba and personally congratulated Peruvian Ambassador Franca Lorella Deza Ferreccio on Peru’s National Day.
Reception Held Near The Hague
Kasteel de Wittenburg is situated in Wassenaar, a municipality near The Hague.
The venue regularly accommodates formal receptions, meetings and other official gatherings in a historic estate setting.

Schwengle Represents Aruba in the Netherlands

Franca Lorella Deza Ferreccio was appointed Peru’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Kingdom of the Netherlands in 2024.
She formally represents Peru in its diplomatic relationship with the Netherlands and with international institutions based in the country.
Schwengle used the reception to convey Aruba’s congratulations directly to the ambassador.
