ORANJESTAD (AAN): Prime Minister Mike Eman recently received a special visit where two inspiring literary works focused on identity, creativity, and personal growth were presented.

The Aruba Children Books Presentation included the titles Quingo Flamingo and Isla di Lionel, created by Bonairean authors Delno Tromp and Elsmarie Beukenboom. These books aim to inspire young readers through storytelling rooted in Caribbean culture and imagination.

Quingo Flamingo follows the journey of a curious flamingo traveling from Bonaire to other islands, including Curaçao and Aruba. In Aruba, the story highlights local wildlife such as Shoco, Patrishi, and Cascabel, blending fantasy with environmental education and promoting awareness of biodiversity.

The second book, Isla di Lionel, tells the story of a young individual who studies abroad and returns to Aruba to contribute to the island’s development, emphasizing perseverance, identity, and purpose.

The Aruba Children Books Presentation created a warm and inspiring exchange between the authors and the Prime Minister, highlighting the role of literature in education and personal development.

The Government of Aruba recognized the importance of such cultural initiatives, noting their contribution to strengthening identity, education, and community awareness.

The Aruba Children Books Presentation reflects ongoing efforts to support projects that connect culture, education, and national development.
