On Sunday evening, the election of Reina Infantil di Carnaval took place at the Aruba Carnival & Entertainment Village, where a festive and well-attended event crowned a new young queen.
At the end of the competition, Amélie Ly-Diane Koolman, representing Distrito di Noord, was elected Reina Infantil di Carnaval. She was officially crowned by Darren van Ommeren, President of Foundation SMAC. Amélie is also the granddaughter of well-known contributor Jan Poets.
The title of First Runner-Up went to Cielo Josenne Lara Benitez, representing Gucci Dancers Aruba, while Alina Wever of TOB Carnival Group finished as Second Runner-Up.
Several special awards were presented during the evening. Best Speech was awarded to Cielo Josenne Lara Benitez, while Best Show, Best Costume, and the Pay.aw Award for Reina Infantil all went to Amélie Ly-Diane Koolman.
The event marked another successful and joyful moment within the Carnaval 72 celebrations, highlighting the talent, confidence, and enthusiasm of Aruba’s youngest carnival participants.
