ORANJESTAD – Aruba marked a milestone in aviation with the first landing of a German Air Force (Luftwaffe) Airbus A321-251NX (A321neo) at Queen Beatrix International Airport.
The aircraft arrived as part of a humanitarian mission supporting relief operations following the recent earthquakes in Venezuela. During the mission, it is transporting humanitarian aid and emergency personnel to assist affected communities.
The visit also attracted aviation enthusiasts. According to ADM Spotter Aruba, it was the first opportunity to photograph the modern German military aircraft in Aruba, making it a unique addition to the island’s aviation history.
