ORANJESTAD (AAN) – Entrepreneurs and small business owners recently attended a free entrepreneurship workshop organized by IDEA (Iniciativa pa Desaroyo di Empresa Arubano) as part of Phase 2 of its Masterclass Entrepreneurship Program.
The workshop, presented by the Department of Economic Affairs (DEACI), provided practical guidance to help participants strengthen and grow their businesses.
Representatives from Aruba Bank N.V. explained the process of opening a business bank account, outlining the requirements and documentation needed for different business structures, including NVs, VBAs and sole proprietorships.
Participants also learned about the account-opening process, from scheduling appointments to account activation, and received tips on submitting complete applications to avoid delays. The session also highlighted online appointment booking and digital application options for simpler business structures.
The workshop forms part of IDEA’s ongoing efforts to equip entrepreneurs with the knowledge and resources needed to build successful businesses in Aruba.
