Supporting the Season of Giving with a Heartfelt Contribution
PALM BEACH – In the spirit of the holiday season, Pelican Adventures recently donated 5,000 florins to the Koningin Wilhelmina Fonds—a local foundation dedicated to the prevention and fight against cancer in Aruba. The donation was presented to Lillian Prince, representative of the Aruban cancer foundation, during a heartfelt gathering at Palm Beach.
The foundation, which operates without government subsidies, relies on generous contributions to continue offering crucial support to cancer patients on the island. This meaningful gesture from Pelican Adventures highlights the company’s strong sense of community commitment and social responsibility.
The donation was made by Martin Molina and Oscar Henriquez, co-owners of Pelican Adventures, along with manager Ian Molina. The founders have overseen the company’s steady growth since acquiring it in 1988.
Originally founded in 1986, Pelican Adventures N.V. is one of Aruba’s leading tour operators, offering a mix of land and sea adventures, as well as hospitality services including the Pelican Nest Restaurant and the Pelican Pier Bar. With a presence in eight prime locations across Aruba and a dedicated team of 90 employees, the company remains a proud contributor to the local economy and well-being of the community.
This charitable act reminds us all of the importance of giving back—especially during times of joy, hope, and reflection.
