Aruba’s Minister of Tourism, Wendrick Cicilia, recently met with the organizing team behind the upcoming San Nicolas Food Truck Festival, expressing full support for the event.

According to information shared during the meeting, the festival is set to be more than just a food event — it aims to be a celebration of local talent, flavors, and entrepreneurship.

Minister Cicilia emphasized that around the world, there is a growing trend among tourists seeking out authentic street food experiences, often turning to food trucks as a highlight of their visit. Aruba aims to meet that demand, especially by showcasing the unique culinary offerings of San Nicolas.

By supporting the event, the Minister said it reflects a broader investment in revitalizing San Nicolas and empowering the community through economic and cultural growth.

More details about the San Nicolas Food Truck Festival are expected to be released soon.
