Aruba’s Public Prosecutor’s Office says the evidence available so far indicates that the young woman who died in the September 13 Aruba UTV fatality was driving the vehicle.
Video evidence informed the update
Questions had circulated publicly and among the victim’s family about who was driving at the time of the crash. Investigators reviewed available evidence, including video footage, before releasing the clarification, according to 24ora.
The investigation began with the Aruba Police Force and later passed to the Royal Netherlands Marechaussee. It is continuing under the direction of the Public Prosecutor’s Office.
Technical investigation remains active
Prosecutors emphasized that the case has not been completed and that technical work remains underway.
Because of the community attention surrounding the crash, the office chose to release only the information concerning the driver. It said no further details would be provided until the full investigation is finalized.
