ORANJESTAD (AAN) – A medical emergency was reported near the Strandpolitie post on Tuesday afternoon involving a tourist over the age of 70. Local authorities received reports indicating that the individual had fallen and struck his head, prompting an immediate response from emergency units.
Police and an ambulance were dispatched to the location to assist the victim. When the patrol arrived at the scene, they assessed the situation and noted the injury to the man’s head.
Officers administered initial aid by placing a cloth over the wound to control the bleeding. The ambulance service then took over the care of the patient upon their arrival at the scene.
