ORANJESTAD (AAN) – Aruba Lions Club Welcomes New Member Marian Krozendijk during the recent installation ceremony for the club’s new board of directors, marking another step in the organization’s continued commitment to serving the Aruba community.
During the event, Marian Krozendijk was officially inducted as the club’s newest member. She joins the organization after years of supporting its activities as part of the Friends of the Lions program. Her husband, Kenneth Bikker, has been a member of the Aruba Lions Club for the past 15 years.
According to the club, Marian has long admired the work Lions members have carried out for the Aruba community over several decades. As a new member, she brings enthusiasm and fresh ideas aimed at strengthening the organization and deepening its connection with the community.
The Aruba Lions Club Board of Directors, together with fellow Lions and members of the Leo Club, welcomed Lion Marian Bikker-Krozendijk and wished her every success in her new role.
The Aruba Lions Club has served the island for nearly 80 years and operates under the umbrella of Lions Clubs International, one of the world’s largest and oldest service organizations. Lions Clubs International includes more than 46,000 clubs in over 200 countries and territories, with more than 1.4 million members worldwide.
Among the Aruba Lions Club’s ongoing community initiatives are its hospital bed and wheelchair loan program, the Smile Mobile, Back-to-School Food Bags, holiday food distribution, and the annual Health Fair.
The club thanked the community for its continued support and encouraged residents to stay tuned for upcoming activities and service projects.
