ORANJESTAD (AAN) – The National Library of Aruba is inviting the public to an Artist Talk with interdisciplinary artist Velvet Zoe Ramos on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. at the library on George Madurostraat in Oranjestad.
During the event, Ramos will discuss the development of her exhibition, its artistic context and the ideas behind her work. Attendees will also have the opportunity to ask questions and engage in discussion with the artist.
Ramos’ solo exhibition, “Paralel,” remains on display at the National Library through July 31, 2026. The exhibition features a range of works, including ceramics, paintings and video projections, and forms part of her broader artistic practice known as “Interlasado,” which also includes performance art, video art, printmaking, food art and filmmaking.
The exhibition is open to visitors during the library’s regular opening hours.
