ORANJESTAD (AAN) – Pickup Truck Rear-Ends Vehicle at Cumana Roundabout after the driver reportedly failed to adjust speed and maintain a safe following distance, resulting in a traffic collision on Saturday afternoon.
Police received a report of the accident at the Cumana Roundabout and immediately responded to the scene to investigate.
Upon arrival, officers determined that the driver of a pickup truck struck the rear of the vehicle traveling ahead after reportedly failing to regulate speed and leave sufficient distance between the two vehicles.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported as a result of the collision. Police documented the incident and handled the necessary procedures at the scene.
The accident serves as another reminder for motorists to maintain safe following distances and adjust their speed according to traffic conditions to help prevent rear-end collisions on Aruba’s roads.
