ORANJESTAD (AAN) – A 32-year-old motorcyclist lost his life in a fatal traffic collision on the Green Corridor in Aruba on Thursday afternoon.
Police received multiple emergency calls reporting a serious crash involving a white Hyundai Accent sedan and a white Suzuki Hayabusa motorcycle on the roadway between Pos Chiquito and San Nicolas.
Responding officers found the motorcycle lying on the roadside and the rider unresponsive. Paramedics arrived shortly afterward and confirmed that the victim showed no signs of life despite emergency assessment. The driver of the Hyundai was also evaluated at the scene.
The victim was identified as Jeanemarc van der Biezen, born on January 27, 1994. A forensic physician officially confirmed his death.
Traffic specialists and the forensic investigation team responded to document the scene and investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision.
According to authorities, Van der Biezen is Aruba’s eighth traffic fatality of 2026. Victim Support Services also attended the scene to assist the victim’s family and loved ones.
