ORANJESTAD, Aruba – Aruba Airport Authority N.V. (AAA) welcomed an official delegation from the Department of Civil Aviation Aruba (DCA) and the Civil Aviation Authority of the Netherlands (CAA NL) to Queen Beatrix International Airport on June 10, 2026.
The visit provided an opportunity to showcase Aruba Airport’s ongoing infrastructure investments, operational improvements, and future development plans under the Gateway 2030 expansion program.
During the visit, the delegation toured the airport’s new U.S. Check-In Hall, which opened in April 2025 as part of Gateway 2030 Phase 1A. The expansion project will introduce three new boarding bridges, three new bus gates, expanded waiting areas, and additional food, beverage, and retail options to improve the passenger experience and support future airport growth.
The visit concluded with an airside tour, giving the delegation a closer look at airport operations, infrastructure, and ongoing developments that support Aruba Airport’s long-term vision of providing a safe, efficient, and world-class travel experience.
