ORANJESTAD: A forceful collision between two vehicles on Friday afternoon resulted in a car landing in the lagoon. The accident occurred at the intersection of Zoutmanstraat and Caya Ernesto Harms, where the impact pushed one of the vehicles off the roadway.
Police officers attended the scene and closed the road to manage traffic and ensure public safety. Authorities confirmed that, fortunately, no individuals were injured during the incident.
It was determined that a Nissan March, driven by a young person, entered the intersection and collided with the Mercedes Benz. The Mercedes was traveling on its right of way at the time of the crash. Following the accident, a tow truck was dispatched to remove the vehicle from the area near the Governor’s Cabinet.
