Employees, management, and the Board of Directors at Playa Linda Beach Resort recently gathered to commemorate the half-year anniversary. The annual event, held at the Palm Beach timeshare, focused on recognizing achievements realized through outstanding teamwork and honoring the daily contributions of the staff.
During the evening, special tribute was paid to outgoing Board President Angela Guarino, who is concluding 17 years of service dedicated to the resort’s innovation and improvement. In recognition of her tenure, the Board presented her with a painting created by local artist Hendrik Schouten. Additionally, employees and management honored Guarino with a photo of the resort signed by the staff and a formal plaque to commemorate her retirement.
The Board announced that the new gym and spa building currently being planned will be named the “Angela M. Guarino Health & Fitness Center” in her honor. Under her guidance, Playa Linda expanded its suite categories and facility offerings, including the development of an upgraded fitness center.
The celebration fostered a sense of community among the team, featuring dinner, dancing, and music by the band Tsunami. The event was attended by members of the executive management team and the Board of Directors.
