Minister of Finance Geoffrey Wever announced that Aruba Economy Set to Exceed 8 Billion florins in 2026. This forecast is detailed in the Department of Economic Affairs, Commerce and Industry’s (DEACI) “Economic Outlook May 2026 – 2027.” The report adjusts previous projections based on official data available up to March 2, 2026.
The 2025 economic performance exceeded earlier expectations, prompting an upward revision of nominal GDP growth from 5.9 percent to 6.4 percent. The GDP value is now estimated at Afl. 7.978 billion. This growth is driven by a 7 percent increase in stay-over visitors, reaching 1.5 million, and a 4 percent rise in employment compared to 2024. Additionally, adjustments to income tax brackets and pension supplements contributed significantly to private consumption.
The positive growth observed in 2025 is expected to continue into 2026.
