The Departamento Meteorologico Aruba has released the weather forecast for Tuesday, May 26, 2026, predicting generally dry conditions as an extension of a high-pressure area over the Atlantic dominates the region. This system is expected to limit the development of significant rain clouds, though brief isolated showers may occur.
Temperatures are set to range between a minimum of 27°C and a maximum of 33°C, with a heat index reaching up to 38°C around midday. Skies will be slightly to partly cloudy overnight, transitioning to partly cloudy conditions with a chance of a passing shower during the morning and afternoon hours.
Winds blowing from the east will increase from moderate to fairly strong, potentially becoming strong to rough with gusts during the day. Consequently, coastal conditions along the east to northwest are expected to be moderate to locally rough, with waves reaching 4 to 7 feet and peaking at 8 to 9 feet in some areas.
A Small Craft Advisory remains in effect for the east to northwest coastlines, and sea users are urged to be cautious, particularly in exposed southern areas. Residents should also note a concentration of Saharan dust affecting visibility and air quality, alongside a very high UV Index of 12. Recent recordings from the Airport and Westpunt listed a high of 32°C and a low of 27°C with no rainfall.
