Cas di Cultura and Grupo di Teatro Senguene are proudly celebrating the impact of the “Tour di Little Stars,” a recent series of presentations leading up to the Little Stars Theater Festival finale. The tour featured the production “Hans y Gretita” and aimed to bring the experience of live theater directly to elementary schools across the island.
Taking place on May 18, 19, and 20, the tour saw student participants from St. Paulus School, Colegio Santa Filomena Basis, and Scol Soeur Juliette perform for a diverse audience. The young cast members had the opportunity to present their work not just to their own classmates, but also to students from Scol Caiquetio, Colegio Sagrada Curazon, Colegio Santa Teresita, Mon Plaisir San Nicolas, Reina Beatrix School, and Pius X School. This structure fostered a unique exchange focused on creativity, storytelling, and youthful expression among various school communities.
The initiative was reported as a significant success, enabling numerous children to experience theater in an attractive and accessible manner. Beyond providing entertainment, the project had specific goals to instill confidence, promote teamwork, improve communication abilities, and deepen the appreciation for the acting arts among Aruban youth. Through programs like the Little Stars Theater Festival, Cas di Cultura and Grupo di Teatro Senguene continue their mission to inspire a new generation to connect with culture and creativity. They encourage the public to follow these organizations on social media for updates on the final weekend presentation and future cultural activities.
