ORANJESTAD (AAN) – Information from The Hague indicates that Aruba Minister Plenipotentiary Mildred Schwengle paid a courtesy visit to the Ambassador of Spain to the Netherlands, Consuelo Femenía Guardiola, following an official invitation.
Also present during the meeting was Juan Antonio Varela Donoso, economic advisor at the Spanish Embassy.
During the discussions, both parties spoke about several important topics concerning the relationship between Spain and Aruba.
Ambassador Femenía Guardiola first served in a diplomatic position in 2011 in Riga, the capital of Latvia. Between 2018 and 2021, she served as Spain’s ambassador to Malta. In February 2022, she was officially installed as Spain’s diplomatic representative to the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
