ORANJESTAD (AAN): Colegio Nigel Matthew proudly recognized its female volleyball team after their championship victory at the Interinsular Games.
The Nigel Matthew Volleyball Champions Aruba team dominated the tournament held at Centro Deportivo Betico Croes, competing against teams from Aruba, Curaçao, and Bonaire.
Displaying strong discipline, teamwork, and passion, the team achieved a clean sweep, winning all matches and sets throughout the competition.
In the final against Bonaire, they secured a convincing victory with scores of 25-9 and 25-8. Player Nayah Whitfield was named Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the tournament.
Following their success, the school honored the athletes during a special moment on campus, awarding certificates and placing their photo on the school’s Wall of Fame.
