An Aruba hospital parking accident early Sunday morning involved a collision between a car and a scooter in the private parking lot near the hospital. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, and both parties agreed to settle the matter privately without police intervention.

According to local reports, the incident occurred around dawn when a car reportedly bumped into a brommer (scooter) that was parked or moving in the hospital parking lot. The collision caused some damage to the scooter, but no one was hurt during the accident. As there were no injuries or further complications, the parties involved agreed to resolve the situation between themselves.

Police officers were dispatched to the scene after the initial report of the incident, but upon arrival, they determined that the accident had occurred on private property and that there were no serious injuries. The police confirmed that both parties, the car driver and the scooter rider, had decided to handle the situation amicably, without involving insurance companies or the authorities further.

Given that the incident took place on a private parking lot, it was treated as a minor traffic accident, and both parties were allowed to resolve the matter “onderling” (privately). The police did not file any formal reports, and the scene was cleared without any further actions.

The Aruba hospital parking accident serves as a reminder of the importance of caution when parking and moving vehicles, especially in busy areas such as hospital parking lots, where pedestrians and two-wheeled vehicles are frequently present.

The hospital parking lot remains a common location for minor accidents involving vehicles and scooters, especially during peak hours when many people are coming and going for medical appointments. Local authorities are advising both residents and visitors to be extra cautious when navigating these areas.

Authorities remind drivers and scooter riders to ensure they are aware of their surroundings and prioritize safety in busy areas like parking lots to avoid accidents.
