ORANJESTAD (AAN) – The Aruba government, through the Ministry of Kingdom Relations, Education, Youth, Innovation, and Sports, has officially begun a preparation round aimed at accrediting public primary schools to participate in the Erasmus+ program. As part of this initiative, the Aruba Government Prepares Primary Schools for Erasmus in the first phase of their vision to strengthen internationalization in education.

This initiative is part of the first phase of a vision to strengthen internationalization in education, expanding opportunities for both students and teachers in basic education, and creating more exchanges of knowledge, experience, and best practices with international partners.

With this preparation process, public primary schools will be guided to meet the necessary requirements and criteria for accreditation, enabling them to apply and actively participate in Erasmus+ projects in the future. This will include guidance on planning, project development, collaboration with international partners, and the implementation of educational activities.

The Ministry views this step as an investment in the future of Aruba’s children, providing them with more opportunities to learn, grow, and connect with the world beyond Aruba, while also enhancing the quality of education on the island.

The government reiterates its commitment to continue working towards a stronger, modernized educational system connected to international opportunities, with the ultimate goal of achieving better outcomes for all students in Aruba.
