The Respaldo incident investigation Aruba is currently being conducted by the appropriate authorities. Respaldo confirmed its full cooperation with the investigation and stressed that it would be inappropriate to speculate or comment on potential outcomes while the process is ongoing.

For general clarification, Respaldo provided information about how its Crisis Service operates. Since October 2024, Respaldo has offered a 24/7 crisis service for individuals experiencing severe psychiatric issues in acute crisis situations. This service is carried out by specialized care professionals and forms an integral part of Respaldo’s FACT teams.

The crisis service focuses on early evaluation, stabilization, and treatment of psychiatric crises. It operates through close collaboration with multiple partners, and depending on the situation, may involve additional support such as law enforcement for public safety or transportation services for client transfers.

Respaldo reaffirmed its commitment, together with its partners, to further strengthening cooperation, communication, and coordination, with the shared goal of providing professional and compassionate care to individuals facing serious mental health challenges.

The organization asked for understanding and respect for the privacy of all those involved while the Respaldo incident investigation Aruba continues.
