NUÑE – Early Sunday morning, a neighbor noticed that the engine of a Nissan Note parked outside a nearby home in Nuñe was on fire. Emergency services were immediately alerted, and both police and firefighters were dispatched to the scene.
Upon arrival, firefighters found that the Nissan Note (license plate A79532) had its engine fully engulfed in flames. Fire crews acted quickly to extinguish the fire, which caused significant damage to the engine compartment, dashboard, and front seats of the vehicle.
After successfully bringing the fire under control, police arrived at the scene but found that none of the residents had woken up, despite the loud noise from the firefighters and the blaze itself. Once the situation was fully secured, firefighters extinguished the remaining flames and left the area.
No injuries were reported.
