ORANJESTAD – Emergency medical personnel responded to Tanki Leendert early Saturday morning after receiving a report of a young man experiencing difficulty breathing.
Upon arrival, paramedics treated a 21-year-old man who reportedly developed breathing problems after smoking hookah. After receiving medical attention at the scene, he was transported to the hospital for further evaluation and treatment.
The incident serves as a reminder that smoking hookah can pose serious health risks, including respiratory complications.
