The Arubaanse Voetbal Bond (AVB) is set to officially close the 2025-2026 youth football championship this Saturday, April 25. The closing event, dedicated to the Mini-Mini (U-5) and Mini-Baby (U-7) categories, will take place at the Centro Deportivo Guillermo Prospero Trinidad (CDGT) in Oranjestad. The morning program promises a festive atmosphere for the football community and participating families.
To celebrate the successful sports year, the AVB will award a champion’s medal to every child who participated in the championship. This initiative aims to highlight the importance of sportsmanship and the values of athletics from an early age. The organization has coordinated a specific schedule to ensure the event proceeds smoothly and has invited parents and fans to support the young athletes.
Entry fees for the closing ceremony are set at Afl. 5.00 for adults and Afl. 3.00 for children under 12. The AVB has expressed its congratulations to all member clubs and players for their dedication throughout the season. The federation expects a high turnout for the event, marking a positive conclusion to the youth football activities at CDGT.
